Bullying At The Gym?

i recently joined a circuit class at my local gym adnd have my cousin has been telling me that the fitness instructor "calls me" to the class whilst (he doesnt know its my cousin) i am training just because i am unfit isnt the point of a circuit class to get fit? should i confront him? Dont want to stop going but i can see the class laughing at me!!

the best way to get them back is to get fit so ignore them and burn, burn burn

Definitely confront the instructor and report him to the management. He should lose his job for such bad behavior.

Speak to the manager and ask them to sort it out

i agree with the first answer...this is his job and he should be there to make people feel better about themselves and get fit not make them feel like a laughing stock

That's extremely unethical behavior on the part of the instructor. You should certainly address it with his employer. He deserves to lose his job.

The whole point of going to the gym is to improve your well being and fitness. This instructor is way out of order and should be made to apologies immediately to you and he should be sacked for gross misconduct.

How dare him, introduce yourself to the instructor while standing next to your cousin and make sure he knows its your cousin and drop a subtle hint that you know what his said and watch him go red and make his excuse to get out of there,if this doesn't fix the problem then see the manager the bulling should stop well before it gets that far.

you should definatly confront him or even better tell the manager..you've got evidence. An instructor is there to help not to make you feel worthless and talk and make jokes about you. Just don;t stand for it anymore its unfair

I reckon reporting him to his employer is the best option here. He should be pulled up on the carpet big time for displaying that type of behaviour.....very unprofessional & your right....it is bullying to the extreme.

I think just showing him up in front of others in the class is reverting to his type of behaviour & won't have the desired effect.
For all you know, someone else may have already reported him prior to this occasion & his employers were convinced by him that it wasn't a true accusation, or perhaps they need more people to come forward before they can take action.
If he's bullying you then he's bullying others too - stand up & do the right thing for the whole class, you can bet your bottom dollar there will be some there that so wish they could do it.

With your account of recent events, they'll be able to act appropriately.
I'd also tell his employers that he's very probably losing them custom as it would put off people from returning again. I'd tell them that if something isn't done about it, then both you & your cousin are considering removing your Gym subscription & if need be will cancel any direct debits set up with them.

Please don't let this bully put you off of getting fit though honey......if it were not that so many people have become unfit.....jerks like him wouldn't even have a job.

Spray his windshield with cooking spray.
