Bulimia?????? |
okayyy! well i weigh 141.8 im the fattest of all my friends i always get picked on but i want to be 120 ish and look pretty and not fat when i eat i tend to make myself gag my friend magan cought me once sooo yeahhh how can i lose it fast with out looking anerxic and people start noticing if i eat 1 apple for b-fast and a orange for lunch then for supper then puke? for ehh 5 days is that bad? Coming from someone who actually HAS an eating disorder, Wow, thats pathetic to read.... how about this eat healthy and exercise? You know you can die from not getting the proper nutrition? YES Losing it fast really isn't possible or healthy. Just exercise more (3 days a week+), drink more water instead of sodas and sugary juice drinks), and eat healthier foods (the apple and oranges are GREAT, but you need protein in your diet). And yes, puking after dinner is VERY unhealthy. It can ruin your teeth and your esophagus (sp?). You can reach your goals if you follow this, just don't make yourself throw-up. It's very unhealthy. Good luck! very unsafe Ok, well first off i know how you may be feeling despite the fact that im a guy i used to wieght about 116 lbs. last year when i was a sophmore in highschool. In my opinion 141 isnt that bad of a weight and 120 isnt ridicuously low either. On your quest to look "pretty" i suggest eating, but eating smart like eat healthy and acompany this by working out so you will be able to be thin but you will gain muscle so you can look skinny but not look annorexic, instead look in shape. You dont have to eat a lot if you cant or dont wish to you can have smaller portions of food and compensate by drinking lots of water to make you not as hungry. And also another important thing is to have confidence, you have to be confident with you as a person and b e able to like stand up straight and proud and think to yourself that you are pretty for who you are on the inside and the outside. Trust me some peoples perceptions of what pretty is a little mis guided and based on the steriotypical ideaology of modern society of what a "pretty girl" is supposed to be. Another thing dont let people make fun of you because chances are if their uber skinny their virtually destroying themselves in the process and tahts not cool :( you have to stand up for yourself and take charge! so hopefully this helps and if you need any more advice feel free to drop me an email - mrperu15@aim.com Hey here's the thing, don't eat chips and all that stuff, you can.. tell your parents to not buy ANYTHING with artificial flavoring, preservatives, or trans fat. it'll help, seriously. I've never had that problem really, but if you focus on everything else, then you don't focus on your own problems. I had a problem like this.. i was actually tearing out my hair.... it's pretty insane huh? but it all came back... the habit's still there, but it's not nearly as bad. I decided to go outside and enjoy to world more, sleep more, etc... Also, a huge problem in bulimia is that your teeth rot, do you want dentures? teeth that you can't bite with, talk without, etc...? also, it can have you die earlier. I wish you luck in trying to stop >_< just don't be too self conscious. I'm reallllyyyyyy self conscious even now, but many people don't look at all that fat or w/e, they look at the real you, not the one trying to loose weight. I found the solution: I come from 26 year of bulimia - I binged and purged almost every day and no treatment facility or therapy could change that over any considerable length of time. Every pound over my normal weight seemed to scream at me: You are ugly, You are fat, You are unacceptable, You don't deserve to live. I was so desperate that I tried to kill myself several times - thank God in vain. I had to realize that I have an addiction - addiction defined is continuing to do something you don't want to do - having lost control over a behavior. I have found a wonderful self help group (no dues, no fees, no weigh-ins) that keeps growing all over the world and am slim and haven't binged and purged for over 5 1/2 years. I have found a contentment in life and support of friends in every area of my life that I haven't thought possible. Finally I keep growing into the person that I am supposed to be instead of sabotaging myself. I do not feel alone anymore - even when no person is around me I feel the emotional connection to my friends and I feel loved. I don't need to put myself down when I make mistakes but I am able to assume responsibility for them. I can learn from my mistakes with the help of my support group members because one of them has been through the same things for sure. You are lucky when you live close to Washington DC, Boston, New Hampshire, San Francisco or Florida because there are a lot of FA groups but the program exists in many more states and countries and the telephone and the internet make the program transportable even to "loners" And you will usually find a person in the program who lets you stay with her in one of the ares where the program is strong - to give you an insight how it works.
