Question about anorexic and bulimia???

ok i just read a story about a gurl that was bulimia and i was wondering "is there any symptoms like anorexica or bulimia that u don't throw up?????

so i meant was is there any diseases or symtoms that is like bulimia and anorexia but you do not throw up or gag? we have to write a report of it i just want an idea!

and what are stuff in the family of anorexia and bulimia?

Yes, one of the symptom of AIDS is rapid weight loss, however, another symptom is death. The general trend with Anorexia and Bulimia is that they're mostly psychological conditions, cased by low self esteem and the constant thought that the "sufferer" is too fat. My personal opinion is that this condition is simply a bi-product of the egotism and peer pressure put on teens and young people by the media's constant obsession with minus-sized models.

I'm not really clear about what you're asking, but I'll give it a try. Anoresia nervosis doesn't involve throwing up. Bulemia does. They're both called body dysmorphic disorder, where you really don't have a realistic idea of what weight you are.

As for other diseases that mimic this with excessive thinness as an outcome, I can only think of hyperthyroidism. Whatever you're looking for would have to be a metabolic disorder that speeds up the metabolism.

ok...
do you mean anorexia NERVOSA or bulimia NERVOSA?
Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia nervosa are the mental health condition where sufferers believe they are fat when they are infact not, and then starve themselves, throw up etc.
You can be considered anorexic when you do not infact have the mental illness behind it.

do you mean are there any diseases that have the same symptoms of anorexia or bulimia?

do you mean are there any diseases that have anorexia as a symptom or complication?
