Bulimia problem..?

I'm so tempted to do it again because i've not exercised today and really do not want to face going out again today..
and it's cold n raining out..
WHAT do i do
i've got to stop myself before i go to that fridge
get the two choccie yoghurts
a bowl of cerials
and a strawberry THINGY!!

i keep coming bk to this habbit altho i say i won't
i eat sum meals like normal
but others i make myself sick after cos i don't want to put any more weight on
i'm already obese
so this isn't exactly bulimia is it?
i've asked about it so many times and i am so confused and i am so sorry

you have a health issue. you need to go see doctor. please do soemthing. it will help in long run. dont be afraid. it will get betetr if you go visit doctor. they will help cure it. good luck.

yes it can still be bulimia even if you are obese.

You need to go and get some help from your doctor and see a dietitian so that you both can plan a healthier diet that will help you to lose weight in a healthier manner your doctor can refer you to a dietitian.

Also are you sure that your obese? Maybe you just THINK that your obese as most people with eating disorders do. In reality to others they are actually painfully thin but due to self esteem the sufferer See's something completely different.

E-mail me if you need help as i would be willing to talk this through with you

Good Luck

Don't make yourself sick... it is ok to miss a day of exercise, just exercise along with a healthy diet and you will not feel the need to be sick, dieting takes a little more time but is a much healthier option because or bulimia will do is make you phisically sick.

don't be sorry, you have accepted you need help and that is good, but now you must go get help and that can only be from a doctor.
its no good asking folk on here we don't have a clue what your going throe, but a doctor will.
don't let it play on your mind missing one day of exercise is not going to do much harm if any, stop being so hard on your self and chill out.
be strong get help i wish you all the best, good luck..xx

I suffered from bulimia for 8 years, i know exactly what you're going through........but the only way i stopped being bulimic and actually got my life and health back again was by going to the doctors. By being sick.......you wont lose any weight, i know its more of a compulsion then anything, you feel so bad if you're not sick........but please please get help.......i developed an irregualr heart beat and tore my oesophagus before i realised i needed to get this problem sorted........or id wind up dead.

bulimia is regarless of weight: it is where you eat or binge on a great amount of food and then throw it all up or purge it in some otherway, ie excercise or laxatives.

If you have a problem with bulimia you need to see a doctor and get referred to get help asap. He/she will be able to refoer you to either a specialist or therapist or psychiatiric service which can help you.

Bulimia and craving to binge go hand i hand, this is because you are giveing you brain mixed messages, it will crave food, if you then eat but throw it up or purge it, it will the next time, send out bigger cravings , you then throw this up again and... see the vicious cycle? the cravings will far outweigh your actual requirements for food if you continue like this and you will also lang yourself in financial and emotional difficulties, as well as with every other part of your internam organs sutting down or failing. Heart included.

You need to see a therapist or someone to work on the emotional reasons as to why you do this, and also a dietition of some sort who can talk you through what happens when you binge and purge and also what foods you do need to live from, what can and do trigger your bulimia and work on correcting your current diet to one which is healthier.

From a personal point of view, I also have bulimia, and if I am at risk I work on reducing the risk, the worst thing becomes weather or not I binge or not, I do everything I can to preveent that- weather it be the gym, talking to the samaritans or the eating disorders association team (find the number on www.b-eat.co.uk and remember, and eating disorder is regarless of weight, it is a psychiatirc illness and you dont have to be skinny to get help) or try to arrange things, anything, rather then bingeing.

Go see your doctor! asap! it will only get worse if you dont!

good luck
