Bruxism: What's the best night guard for the $$$? Sports guard, from the pharmacy or the dentist custom-made? I bought one from a dentist for $450. Five years later, I spoke with a few dentists who told me to use a .99 cent football mouthgaurd instead. It is cheaper and when it gets nasty, you can buy a new one. Mine's from the dentist... made to fit my mouth... I've never had one from the pharmacy... but I'd try it if something happened to the one I have now. Both will probably work just as well. go with the dds and custom made for your mouth |
