Is there anything that will help bruxism without the uncomfortable mouthgaurds, even natural cures welcome.? |
Me and my youngest son suffer from nightime 'teeth grinding'. And I'm not comfortable with wearing the 'mouth gaurds'. Is there any natural healing method that would help? And chewing gum before hand hasn't helped either. STOP the insanity, Stop the grinding! Hi, There is an experimental energy psychology technique called EFT that has been amazingly effective for this type of thing. Google EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique and you should find what you're looking for. What kind of nightguards have you looked into? There are the hard acrylic NG, and those are very uncomfortable, I tried one and woke up with a very sore neck. I have a soft acrylic NG and it works wonders, I wake up feeling great. The best thing for you to do is get a soft acrylic NG. Not only will you feel better you will be saving your teeth from a lot of wear. We saw a pt who grinded her teeth very short and had to crown them. |
