Is it ok to wear your retainers when you sleep even if you grind your teeth (bruxism)? |
The grinding is durnig sleep, I am afraid it will damage the retainers so i don't know... Yes, it is okay to wear the retainer even though you grind your teeth. The retainer is capable of doing double duty acting as a brux appliance AND a retainer. If it shows signs of wear, bring it to your dentist or orthodontist and have it repaired or replaced. |
