Repairing lost tooth enamel?

I was wondering what are some of the different ways a dentist can repair one's tooth enamel when it has been severely damaged from bruxism (grinding of the teeth during sleep)? I have an appointment in a couple weeks to have this looked at and would like some info before going in, thank you.

Depending on how bad it is there is not much they can do except crowns or veneers. I have been in dentistry for 18 years and bruxism is a real problem. You need to make sure you are wearing a bite guard at night. Even after you have your teeth fixed it is important to wear the guard as it can cause severe damage to the nerves. Good luck!
