My mom has symptoms...?

My mom is 39 and she noticed that shes had bruising that is coming and going. She also has had fevers and chills. Her body aches to where she has to lay down. She seems to be very tired and needs to take pain medicine. she says she's been sick for about three weeks now and i was just wondering what that could be.?

could it be leukemia?

yes it can be leukemia. thats one of the number one signs of it. trust me, you need to get her to go see the doctors as soon as possible. the sooner you go in to treat it the better of the chances of full recovery, and if she dosnt have it its still a good idea to check believe me. i just got done with battleing AML leukemia. i had to do intense chemo, i was lucky and i didnt have to do radiation, but i did have to do a bone marrow transplant. go get her in to get checked for it, because the longer you wait, the more it could spread.

i just pray for your mom that she doesnt have it! she probabally doesnt, but its always good just to make sure.

I am not sure. She needs to go to the doc and the sooner the better. My mom died of leukemia. One thing that can happen is they can bruise alot but anything else could be causing that as well. Better for her to have it checked out now so if it is leukemia there is a better chance for treatment. that is a chance but a more likely diagnosis is ITP, she needs to go to the doctor
