How do docs insert implanon?

i want to get implanon but was wondering if anyone knows how it is inserted? and does it give you bruising afterwards? can anyone tell if you have one without pressing on your arm?

Implanon is inserted just under the skin, in the upper arm. The top picture on this web site is the insertion devise.

Since it is just under the skin, you can feel it by pressing on the skin.
