After Extractions and White Gums? |
Hi, Extrations were done on monday evening. i had 9 extractions under sedation....similar problem...its nothing to worry about, just the natural healing process of the body. This is normal. It just means that area is no longer circulating blood through it. It was probably cut during the extractions. That is also normal. Parts of the tissue will heal together while others fall off like scabs. After having my wisdom teeth removed I had the same problem but I had just assumed it was part of the healing and apparently it was since nothing bad ever came from it and it went away. It is normal, I thought that I had got food in the socket because it looked white. Don't worry it is normal. Alot depends on the reason you had to loose your teeth. If severe gum disease was the problem, then your gums will look more damaged until they have healed. If you lost them to an injury or failing Root Canal this could just be the trauma from the surgery. Either way the white tissue area is fine. You will feel real pain if the surgery site is infected or not healing well. I hope you recieved pain meds and antibiotics. Dont stop taking them. Stay away from smoking or any other activity like sucking through a straw. This will dislodge your boodclot and cause very serious pain if it becomes infected. Also, your bloodclot will look whitish/yellow. This is normal do not make the mistake thinking it is food. This is your bodys bandage for the site. Much like a scab. Hope this helps. Good Luck!! this is a men's health section... not a women's health section! ...I think you probably sprained it, or maybe even a small break. Sometimes you can still move it, withoutthe pain beig unbearable. I suggest going to a doctor. It could heal the wrong way if you don&... well my grandma once told me to check under my arms cause if i have lumps then i may have breast cancer so you may have breast cancer but ask your doctor ...just sounds like an ingrown hair, and when you squeezed it you irritated it just keep it clean, don't pick at it anymore and maybe put some neosporin on it.. ...If you put ice on it, it will help the swelling go down. You will see the bruise no matter what, because of what happened to you. Keep the ice on it, the swelling will go down, and if you don'... it is a dead skin that will dry out and than away. Make sure you do not touch it. You can also use over the counter anti scar creams. ...It creates a burn. It will go away, might leave a scar. ...The only thing that I can think of would be stress fractures or maybe even a bone spur. Try this though ..... put one foot across the opposite knee and pull your toes backwards for a few seconds .... |
