Ankle/foot pain after jumping from low heights? |
Hi, I would like to understand why do both of my ankles and the rest of the feet hurt after I jump from a low heights (e.g. after being seating in a place for which my hands were enough to lift myself and get there, ~7 in higher than my waist) It has happened three times already: I jump, land on both of my feet and they feel weird, not as if I had a bruise but probably a dull sensation that takes a few seconds to leave before I can walk conforatably. (I made some small feet movements afterwards) The only thing that I can think of would be stress fractures or maybe even a bone spur. Try this though ..... put one foot across the opposite knee and pull your toes backwards for a few seconds ... gently. This might help to work out the tendons or muscles in your feet. |

Try putting ice on it to take the swelling down. (oh don't forget it's going to still look red after you put the ice on so wait after you have used the ice and then check.) Then see what ... jear: get it checked out. it is unlikely anything serious but you would feel better if you knew for certain. it may be a lymph node or a cluster of them. maybe something on your thyroid too. no... i sprained my ankle to it can take sevaral weeks to sevaral months p.s sorry if i spelled something wrong ...Nothing at all, your mom will be fine in a few days. She is bruised in a sensitive area and every time she move she is using those muscles. Once the bruise has started to heal she will feel much be... |
