Help, monroe piercing gone wrong...? |
Okay so i tried to pierce my monroe about three or four days ago, but the piercing resulted in major bleeding... i didnt push the needle all the way through and didnt complete the piercing. The piercing was on the upper right monroe area (above the lip) well now, there is brusing all above my lip, and my lip is almost black... as if my lip is bruised. I'd grin and bare the embarrassment of going to the doctor if I were you. The answer above is probably correct but I wouldn't risk leaving it if you tried a piercing yourself and did some damage. Remember, that's why there are professionals who are paid to do the job. I remember taking my friend to the hospital after he had a few beers and attempted to pierce his eyebrow....not a pretty sight. As I say, go to the doctors because if you have damaged muscle or nerves you will be there later anyway and looking far worse. You answered it yourself. Okay well first, a bruise isn't something to be very concerned about unless it's pulsing or if it's getting larger. If it's getting larger you need to see a doctor because whatever you hit isn't closing and it needs to. If the bruise doesn't go away in a week or so and your lip is feeling heavy it might just need to be drained. you HAVE to go to the doctor. maybe you should have thought this through a little more first eh? Didn't you realize that something could go wrong as you're not a professional piercing expert? I think it will be a little strange for you to have a skin grafting after your lip falls off from infection. |
