Sore place on leg??? Is it a problem??

There's a sore spot on my leg right below my knee cap. It is like a rounded bump and it hurts when i hit it even lightly w/ my hand or anything. It's not bruised. Won't go away...Any help??? Btw, i'm 12

That area you felt could be one of the other knee joints. Please let your mom and dad know what's going on as well so that they can help you keep an eye on this and also your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
