Eyeball pain.... help?

(On behalf of a mate)
It hurts to move his eyes around (look up or down, or left and right); he says it feels like his eyeballs are bruised! Anyone had this?
Any advice please

It hasn't come on suddenly, and it isn't severe - he's had it for a few days and its just starting to bother him now. He is going to the doctors tomorrow but just asked me to post the question for him...

He needs to see a doctor.

Umm.. i think i have had this....
Ask if your mates tears make his eye sting, and is the top eye lid swollen?
If yes, then its a minor eye infection (i've had it many times as i wear contacts)
You just need eye drops, twice a day for about 3-5 days.. it will go away..

it is serious and should be taken serious as it affect the eye ,
it may be a serious problem involving the venous system of the eye
or it may be very simple as eye strain due to effort
or it may be muscle pain only.
but being checked by a physician is a must to exclude any serious problem .

brusing is caused by bleeding...putting heat on it just causes it to bleed more. put ice on it! and sleep on ur side or stomach. maybe even avoid skateboarding for a few days! hahah
