Bruises!?!?!?!?

I started getting a lot of random bruises lately, and I don't know why. I didn't get hurt or anything in those spots, they just appeared. Does anyone know of anything that might cause this?? Thanks :D

You could have some type of bleeding disorder. You need to see your doctor for a check-up.

not enough protein in ur diet

Bruises in general, have three sources:
Drugs taken by mouth such as aspirin, magaldrate (Plavix), blood thinners such as warfarin, (Coumadin) bezafibrate, and drugs to lower your cholesterol (Statins like lovastatin, sodium pravastatin etc)...excess Ibuprofen can do have such an effects...

Allergic reactions to drugs that may interfere with platelet function, such as antibiotics (ciprofloxacillin, mefloxacillin, cephalexin, erythromycin), and or some a new drug that has been prescribed to you,,,(in short, an allergy that affects your platelet levels)

Hematological diseases. such as lymphoma, leukemia and purpura purport...(low levels of platelet count)

Before anything is recomended. to you, a full blood cell count and platelet levels is needed, together with clotting tests (Thrombine and protrhrombine coagulation, times)....

I do not want to make you worry but a friend of mine went to the doctor after bruising randomly and was diagnosed with leukemia. Don't mess around and have it checked just in case. Even if it is something minor, at least you will know !
Good luck to you
