If bruises aren't gone within 4 weeks, should I be concerned? |
In late January, I got two bruises (one on my breast, one on the inside of my upper arm). The bruises were pretty severe, with blood almost to the surface of the top layer of skin. I used arnica gel on it for the first week after the injury and they started to fade around the second week. At this point, I have greyed spots where the bruises were. They're not very visible and not painful at all, but still annoying to see in the mirror. Should I try another treatment? Consult my doctor? Wait another week or two and see if they fade even more? Everybody has a different metabolism and they generally know what rate they heal and if this is the longest you have had bruises then you are obviously worried and should go to see a doctor to be on the safe side. Maybe you should see a doctor, or at least call one. just wait. if they dont fade away call a docter. dont worry it doesnt sound really serious. |
