I take the pill, so my period is ALWAYS on time, its been about a week since I started my new set of pills, orsince my last period ended.
On thursday I got really sick with bronchitis and I was taking so many pills that I somehow forgot to take "the" pill, the last time I took it was on friday and I just took it again today. But I just realized that it looks like I'm getting my period again.
Could this be because I didn't take the pills 4 days?
I usually get it after about 5 or 6 days of not taking the pill.
Please Help, has this ever happend to anyone before? I've missed pills but probably not so many and I a row.

This is absolutely because you did not take the pill for four days.

Also, if you are/were taking an antibiotic, that can reduce the effectiveness of "the pill."

You'll have to start over with a new pack. Stop taking this pack and start a new one as you normally would after your period.

Typically, you cannot miss more than two in a row. If you miss two you can take them and be ok. This varies from pill-to-pill so READ THE INFORMATION that comes with your pills.
