Who has already gotten the flu or got sick?

I got the flu and hated it! It was my first time getting the flu! I also got sick with a bad cough called bronchitis! I hatted that whole week except for i got to stay out of school for a week but i missed my friends when i wasn't at school and had a lot of make-up work to do!

Yeah, I had it a couple of weeks ago. Because of it, I ended up having a sinus infection. That hurt like no other, I had headaches every day and toothaches.

I am sick constantly because I live in NYC and take public transportation. Here, everone coughs and sneezes without covering their mouth. They don't care about anyone else but themselves.

i usually get sick when its cold and when stress has gotten over me without proper vitamin intake.

I've got the flu right now....I'm vomiting every five minutes...Even if it's dry vomiting...

jsyk dry vomiting is when u heave but nothing comes up...pretty much just plain gagging.

So far no one in my family of 4 has gotten the flu. We have all had a cold though.

Wow you actually have only got the flu once. I get the flu maybe twice a year. I got within the last few weeks but I never get it very bad. Personally I think bronchitis helps change a person voice.:)

I got the flu for 3 days 2 years ago. I got to study for a test more, but I couldn't go Christmas shopping for my family.

Flu has started to show up in some areas - hasn't started yet in others. There is still time to get flu shots.

Our family hasn't had any flu since we started getting flu shots fifteen years ago. We have a paramedic in the family, and he is coughed on in the back of an ambulance all winter long - I'm convinced that the flu shots keep us from getting the flu every year.

It would be a very good idea to wash your hands often. You can also get a bottle of hand sanitizer - like Germ-X - keep it in your purse or backpack and use it when you can't use soap and water.
