WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, any help is greatly appreciated!!?

Ok, I've been sick since Thursday. It really got bad yesterday. My symptoms are: headache, swollen glands, chest pain, bad persistent cough, my neck is swollen, fever, tonsils are red and swollen, runny nose, stuffed up nose, red spots on the back of my throat, and body aches. Does anyone know what鈥檚 wrong with me? My family thinks I have strep throat but some of my symptoms seem more to me like bronchitis or pneumonia. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I should be going to the doctor sometime this week, I just wanted to know if anybody on here thinks they know what I have.

Oh, one more symptom, diffifulty breathing. I have asthma but this is different.

Coughing should rule out Strep -

You probably have several bugs that have hit you at one time. I'd suggest trying to stay warm and comfortable until you can see the doctor. Try not to think about it too much and get some rest.

prob like you said posible strep but maybe just the flu.

It is flu season, and that's probably what it is since your body aches. I hope you get well quickly. That's gotta make a person miserable!

Not sure. Maybe its the flu? Or a throat infection. My kids have been so sick this winter. Its terrible. From strep to throat infections to ear infections. Haven't had the flu yet

Honestly, your symptoms sound like this last illness she had. The doc says its a throat infection. She's been on antibiotics & all, but had to go back cuz it wasnt seeming to help. He says keep her on them, but to top it off, he feels its viral.

Sounds to me that you have tonsillitis and a upper respiratory infection.Usually with strep it's white puss pockets at the back of the throat. Good luck at the doctor and I hope you feel better soon. Hey gargle with warm salt water it really does help your throat.

Sounds like you got the Flu/cold and it's turning into Bronchitis!
When you have white spots on throat/tonsils..that is strep throat!

that happened to my big sister secelia too. all of the same exact symtoms. dont be scared but that happened to her when she was pregnant! your family was probably to nervous to tell you that! good luck!

don't torture yourself.you should see the doctor cause you are in one full package and it all start from your tongsils.Better go now cause after the lungs its will travel to your brain.
