I've been really sick...Any suggestions for me...Please?? |
Hi there...I am reaching out for help, as by now...I'm pretty desperate to get some relief for myself. About a week and a half ago, it started out with a headache...And then I eventually developed: a sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, head & chest congestion, and I just am feeling so sick...My cough is hoarse in nature, and I'm also coughing up a type of yellow mucus...I am an asthmatic, so when I get sick, it usually goes straight to my lungs, and then I typically wind up with Bronchitis. I'm not feeling that much better, & I'm depressed because I've basically been bed ridden, and isolated for the duration of this illness. Please, if anyone has any knowledge or has had any history with lung infections, or any of the other symptoms I've been experiencing--please shed some light on what I can do to help myself...Are there any natural remedies, or medicines I can take to feel better?? I'm been taking Robitussin thus far. Just so ya know, I did see a doctor. He said that I do in fact have bronchitis. He said it鈥檚 probably a viral type of infection, and that I just have to rest up and ride this out in order to get better. He really didn鈥檛 provide much relief for me, so that is why I鈥檓 trying to find out if somebody here has any advice/suggestions for me...Ty!! I have asthma too and this is what I do when I am sick. I may seem off-topic by mentioning this, but have you considered getting an air purifier if you don't already have one? I have one with a carbon prefilter and a HEPA filter and it makes breathing easier. First of all there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Its a normal infection when you have asthma i wouldn't try natural remedy's because maybe your allergic... So do what your doctor said and use your asthma tools(Ventolin... and whatever you have in your stock) |

Albuterol is a very versatile drug. It is also reasonably harmless as prescription drugs go. I think your doctor would prescribe you some more Albuterol because you feel it's working for you. ... I think the best thing to do is have your doctor check your hemoglobin levels. I don't see any relationship on severe colds, cough and bronchitis to your prolonged intake of iron supplements.... It keeps them on their ... first of all it gets colder, second of all when you are lying down, the mucus, goes up the respiratory tract and it causes one to cough...hope this helps.... ...this could be an allergy problem believe it or not. pollen or any other of the allergens out there can cause you to have that phlegm by building up in your chest. i know cause i have that problem t...
