Do I have a flu? |
I have alot of chest pain with breathing. Alot like bronchitis but ALOT deeper. It hurts through my chest all the way into my shoulder blades. I'm severely fatgued, and have the biggest headache ever (I don't really get headaches). I have the slightest slightest runny nose if that, and I don't feel like I have any congestion in my chest it just feels like painful and dry to cough. When I cough to hard it feels like someone just punched me in the chest. It looks like pneumonia to me, and can be of viral or bacterial origin. Am sure the Doctor will order some x-rays and ask you to send some sputum for analysis culture, and sensitivity. Hey, I've actually had the flu all week. You're describing exactly how I've felt all week. I had a fever most of the time, though. But yeah, my entire body hurt and all I wanted to do was sleep, and I've been having these terrible coughing fits all the time. (By the way: DayQuil/NyQuil really helped me when I had a runny nose, and I took Tylenol to get my fever to go down and to make some of the pain go away). Good luck! yes u have all the symptoms especially the headaches and u feel like u been hit by a truck yep that would be the flu sorry get plenty of rest and drink alot of water to stay hydrated Usually with the flu you will feel aching all over your body. You could have acute bronchitis or walking pneumonia, but since you aren't coughing up anything, it is probably bronchitis. Definitely go to the Dr. for cough medicine, inhaler and possibly antibiotics. You should then feel better with in a few days, just make sure you finish your course of antibiotics. |
