I can't seem to shake being "sick," and having respiratory problems, help!?

I don't have HIV, I take great care of myself and eat healthy, and yet I can't seem to shake being "sick." The only other thing I can think of is i do go out alot, virtually everyday I go somewhere, and I do have a type-A personallity that tends to get stressed alot, and let things get to me.

Maybe that's making me continuously ill. Also I went through alot in my life stress wise, and I also had an eating disorder a few years back that I recovered from.

But now, I can't feel "normal." I always feel somewhat crappy.

Is there any hope for me, will I ever feel better?

I'm 26!

Maybe it just takes a really long time for major illnesses like flu/bronchitis/pneumonia, which I've had, to clear up? and While they're clearing up if you catch a cold, etc it just might make you feel worse all over again?

I can't stay home or sleep 24/7, I don't want to miss out on my life, so I need some advice!

Thanks.

You may want to consider getting some allergy tests done. My brother and I both used to have permanent blocked noses/cold symptoms, but when we moved house we both got miraculously better- turns out we were allergic to a certain kind of tree we had growing in the back yard, but had been under the effects so long we never thought to see a doctor for the symptoms- we just had sniffles all the time, we figured that was "normal" for us.

So yeah, could be an allergy- have you recently changed your diet, home or cleaning products etc? Even if you haven't, a company may have changed the recipe of something you customarily use. Consider getting some tests done, or else just have a period of prolonged rest- if it's a cold/flu/infection of any kind that's just hanging on, the only way to really get rid of it is to let your body focus on nothing but healing- I'm not advocating total bedrest, but consider having a few days off work and being lazy.

You could also have a vitamin deficiency- consider a multivitamin tablet once a day, or maybe take Vitamin C, as that can boost your immune system.

Hope you feel better!

You really should call the doctor
