Bronchitis, pneumonia or just a cold?

hi just about a week and a half ago, I thought I was coming down with a cold, until I lost my voice and kept coughing more and more. I went to the doctor and he said that it appear to be a viral infection, close to bronchitis but not quite. I took some ontibiotics, drank plenty of flouids and recovered from it about a week later, I was feeling very good for a few days. I decided to go to the gym and after my normal workout routine, I went to the sauna for about 15 mnts. Well it was a little bit cold outside, about 14 degrees. Now a day later I find myself coughing again, I mean I just can't stop coughing. Is this bronchitis now or pneumonia or just cold again?

If your doctor gave you antibiotics to clear up something viral, then why did you go into the sauna again? That's most likely where you got it in the first place. You can also contract virus' in a hottub.
Stay away from damp, hot places. That's the kind of stuff that can bring on bronchitis. It's a really bad disease.
I've had it for about 30 yrs.

Sounds like youhave one of the cases of Bronchitis thats going around see your doctor again or get a second opinion. Try not to drink anything cold as this will make your cough worse. Stay inside and keep warm until you can see a doctor. Don't feel bad I think I'm catching it too.
