Bronchitis........help please? |
Hi to anyone taking the time to read this and thank you. Does any one in here get bronchitis a few times a year. If so, does anyone have any tips on what to eat, what to avoid, even what areas of the US are the best places to live to avoid getting it so frequently. Does stress factor into it? Thanks for any info. peace mullein tea, thyme tea, horsefoot tea, tigerbalm ointment, hollow out black radish, fill it with a spoonful brown sugar, wait until it is dissolved to a liquid, take it several times the day or even put it in tea are my ways to cure a bronchitis avoid smoking, if you do, switch to lights or ultra lights. If you're getting it so many times a year, you should get a complete check up from your doctor or a respiratory specialist to rule out an underlying cause. Umm... somewhere not too humid I'm assuming, I have it and where I live we have 4 seasons and it only bothers me when the seasons change, which sucks but I don't have it too bad. i had bronchitis for 4 months i ate the same fods i normally do and for my throught i had throat losenges for relief it was bad it was borderline pneumonia quit smoking, especially weed. try and take some kind of vitamin to strengthen your immune system... ask in your health food store. I've had severe asthma and chronic bronchitis all my life. i have lived in cal. and now fl. i have been up and down from sickness. now i am on advair diskus and have gotten my life back. no sickness in 5 months and counting. 1] no smoking - don't even be in same room as smokers. If you get bronchitis frequently, you probably already have some lung damage. I get it about once a year. There is no rhyme or reason why we get it. Basically the minute I start feeling that tightness in my chest I get to the doctor right away and get breathing treatments and steroids. A lot of liquids and hot showers help too (to help loosen up the congestion in your chest). As far as places to live, probably someplace with low humidity although I would do a TON of research before I moved any where for health reasons. Your doctor might be able to suggest something. Good luck. I know how exhausting and painful bronchitis is! Chronic bronchitis is a serious condition. You should see a lung doctor. Not your general practioner. avoid predisposing factors...e.g symptoms for the acute are deep cough that brings up grayish or yellowish phlegm, or sputum, from your lungs. Other symptoms are breathlessness, wheezing, and a fever. You may also have pain in the upper chest which gets worse when you cough. i have suffered bronchitis a few times in the past few years, recently i put off going to the doctor because the doc is 2 hrs away . i awoke one morning struggling to breath and was air lifted to the hospital with chronic acute bronchitis which then lead to prenemonia i was a smoker but stoped when i got sick . at all costs avoid smoke of any kind all year round not only when ur sick and see a doctor regularly my bronchitis has lead me to be an astma sufferer due to the damage bronchitis has done to my lungs. bronchitis can lead to more serious conditions.then just bronchitis. |
