Compact mirror LED safety? |
I use a compact mirror which opens up into a normal mirror on one side and a magnifying mirror on the other side. There are also a couple of small what I think are white LED lights inside the mirror unit. I would like someone to clarify what the dangers to my eyes are if I look briefly at the lights for example. I have seen warnings about this on LED key rings. Also would the manufacturer be allowed to sell this product if there was any real risk of eye damage/blindness ? It isn't a laser...it's just a small light. |
