Does anyone Else have a child with an heamangioma? has it started to go down?

heamangioma (if thats how its spelt) is a birthmark/strawberry mark. my daughters is on her eye. she is 3.

My sister was born with a large hemangioma on her temple. Over the years it seemed to disappear gradually. It used to be puffed up and angry red. Now the place where the hemangioma used to be is a little sunken and the skin is slightly darker than the rest of her face.

Hi - my son (now 10) had one about the size of a 10p above his ear. Once his hair started growing, it was hidden. It started to go down when he was about 4, and was completely gone by the time he was about 6.

But this does vary from child to child. As your daughter's is on her face, the doctors may be able to do something about it - it's worth asking.
