Can you sue a birth control company? |
I have been on seasonal b/c for awhile now and i got preg on it i'm 6 weeks preg now can you sue? Probably not. All birth control companies state that the pill is not 100% effective, and they usually suggest you use other protection as well. Nope, the pill does protect but it's only 98-99% so you still have a chance of preg. No, because they say it is 99.9% effective. So you are that .1%. They would also claim that you didn't take them correctly. No, of course you can't sue. They tell you that it's not 100% guaranteed you won't get pregnant. I wish people would quit suing others for stuff that's their own fault. all b/c companies always state the ratio of possiblities while using their product.. with the pill it's like 99 percent effective.. SO NO YOU CAN'T SUE THEM.. they disclosed to you that there was always that 1 tenth of a percent chance. nope. no birth control claims 100% protection. You need to talk to your Dr. though....they are supposed to decide which dosage is best for you. just have your baby maby it will be a boy need no more wemon in this world You would have to have a strong case where you could provide evidence that you have taken it 100% correctly, have not had any diarrhoea or vomiting or done anything else that could have reduced its effectiveness. having your partner wear a condom would have helped you know. with Sex comes a price! weather it's a unwanted pregnancy or a STD, It happens everyday. Have you been on antibiotics recently? Nothing is 100% and I imagine the package said that. No. They don't guarantee you won't get pregnant. They all say it's only 99% useful, and that's if you take it every day at the same time, never miss a pill, etc. Many factors can come into play for the continuity of the hormones. Over the counter and even prescription medications can interfere with oral contraceptives. The pill isn't 100% effective. |
