How are flu vaccines produced? |
I've heard that migrating birds are captured and a serum taken from their blood to produce the latest flu vaccine. This is based on the idea that illnesses, like the flu, originate in birds. 1-yes it is It's a JOKE! Don't know about being true, but as there is a different strain of flu every year the vaccine they give must be from last years strain so how will it work on the new mutated strain of this year Hi!
