How are flu vaccines produced?

I've heard that migrating birds are captured and a serum taken from their blood to produce the latest flu vaccine. This is based on the idea that illnesses, like the flu, originate in birds.

1. Is it true?
2. How effective is the treatment in reality?

1-yes it is
2-very effective.

It's a JOKE! The efficacy rate for this years Flu shot is under 40% according to the CDC.

THEY DON'T WORK AND 80%+ARE LOADED WITH MERCURY.

Basically, flu vacines are made by isolated purified live virus being injected into chicken eggs and allowing the virus to replicate. The virus is then inactivated with formaldehyde and purified. The purified virus is then mixed with an aluminum adjuvant and then the vaccines is ready for use. Efficay is generally OK but duration of immunity is only 7 months.

Don't know about being true, but as there is a different strain of flu every year the vaccine they give must be from last years strain so how will it work on the new mutated strain of this year
