I am looking for bereavement groups in los angeles county.Any suggestions?

My eldest daughter who was 30 years old, just passed away 2 weeks ago. I am looking for bereavement support groups in the Los Angeles County near Whittier area. Are there any suggestions? Thank you

If those places don't seem to be the right "fit," ask them for a referral to one that might help you better.

Try calling your local hospital or mental health clinic.
Hospitals offer all kinds of groups.

Look in the phone book for different hospice organizations. All of them run grief support groups. There isn't a change and is well worth it. I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter. You may have to call on Monday to reach an office person who can give you the information on the specific groups.
