I'm 8 months pregnant with a prolactin level of 154..?

My last labs were done Aug 30th 06 and my Prolactin level was 6.7

My OB/Gyn hasn't really said too much- but I gave her my endocrinologist's number (whome I hate becuase she takes forever to respond to people, etc.)

ANYWAYS... I do have a confirmed benign tumor on my pituitary gland (6mm X 8mm) and with the last labs/MRI done Aug 30th of 06 it proved to be non secreting..

So, what does my level of 154 mean? That seems to be MUCH higher than 6.7! What could possibly be going on with me? Will my baby be OK???!!

Woops- meant to add the reason why my blood was taken was becuase I've been having severe swelling in my feet, but no other symptoms of the typical toxemia or pre eclampsia... Blood was drawn yesterday and the Dr. just called me regarding my Prolactin level only..

generally dont follow prolactin during pregnancy because the pregnancy itself can cause the prolactin to go up. wait until you hear from the endo, she will tell you the next step
