Can Removing a breast lump be worst? |
Why do some people choose to have a biopsy first? Can't a benign tumor turn into a malignant tumor? What hazards are there in removing breast lumbs surgically? Yes it can, it happened to my mother and she had to end up getting it removed. There are no hazards in removing breast lumps, just physical and vain consequences like appearance. A biopsy is the only way to be certain whether a lump is malignant or not. Well, you need a biopsy to determine if the lump is malignant or benign. I am no doctor, but I always thought most benign tumors stayed that way and did not turn malignant. I thought malignant tumors are that way from the beginning. Like I said, don't take this as medical advice. |
