Is there a connection between MS and Bell's Palsy?

Is there a connection between MS and Bell's Palsy?

Yes, there CAN be a connection between MS and Bell's Palsey. In MS your own immune system attacks the mylin sheath covering your nerves. If this occurs within your brain, part of your head - the skin - could feel numb - like Bell's Palsy, or you could feel tingles upon the skin of your head.

If you are diagnosed with Bell's Palsey, it wouldn't hurt to ask your Dr. about checking you for MS.

No. Most likely connected to Lyme Disease and Herpes Simplex.
