ive herd that herpes can cause bells palsy mine started Saturday and ive been to doctors today and she could not find any sign or herpes but ive been given steroids and anti virals i take 12 steroids an 5 antivirals per day. but today my girlfriend told me that she has a sore on the inside of her mouth could this possibly be the cause of my bells palsy and should i get myself checked at a std clinic and tell my girlfreind to do so. please repy i need help. Bells Palsy is not a sign of herpes but....the herpes virus is now thought to be the culprit behind some Bells Palsy episodes. That being said...it doesnt necessarily mean the herpes virus that you obtain from oral sex but the one most everyone has from a common cold sore on the mouth. you are a gross dude. holly ******* **** dude!! just tell yo girl to put methionine in her mouth and ur lucky cause the only thing u need to do is put toothpaste on ur penis : ) glad to help! Bells Palsy is not a sexually transmitted Disease so there is no reason for you to have signs of Herpes. Steroids and Anti-Viral are common treatment for Bells Palsy. As far as your girlfriends sore on the inside of her mouth there is some concern for possible STD infection, but this can only be diagnosed by an STD test at a clinic. I would recommend both of you getting tested. Both of you would definitely benefit from getting tested JUST TO KNOW...... Its possible. Bell's Palsy is caused by inflamation of nerve cells in the face. Sometimes, people have herpes outbreaks that infect those nerve cells and trigger the paralysis. If you are young, that very well could be the cause. Some lousy doctor you have, bells palsy is NOT a sign of herpes, now the sore in your girl friends mouth could be. Better find out where HER mouth has been. The palsy is a nerve problem that sometimes can come & go other times it stays a life time. Lots of people who ride motorcycles with out helmet and face masks get this problem. The wind beating on the nerves in the face. |
