Can doing drugs cause 'bells palsy'?

Can doing drugs cause 'bells palsy'?

If you were doing a bunch of coke or speed, I think it could cause bells palsy. Both of those drugs are tough on your circulatory and nervous system. They can lead to stroke and heart attacks. An addiction is certainly a stressful lifestyle, so it makes sense they could also cause something like bells palsy.

no, bells palsy is usually caused by huge amounts of stress

It is caused by nerve damage. People who are diabetic and pregnant are more prone to developing it. About 50% of the people who get it. recover fully from it.

Bells palsy is a condition that causes the facial muscles to weaken or become paralyzed. It's caused by trauma to the 7th cranial nerve, and is not permanent. It is the most common cause of facial paralysis.

It is not caused by drugs, this is commonly associated with infections (most likely herpes simplex) and can result from hemorrhage, tumor, meningitis, or local trauma.
