What should I do? (Woman only)? |
I have two boys, one is 4 1/2 and the other is 9mnths old. I get really serious health problems when i'm pregnant such as gestational diabetes, intra-hepatic coalstasis (SP?) and preterm labor (Started around 24 weeks with both) I got bells- palsy after I had the 2nd and with both I had trrible migraines during pregnancy and then a short time after. I also have mitral valve prolapse. I am healthy and NOT overweight and the only issue I have when not pregnant is the MVP heart issue which honestly is a minor heart problem (Murmur) anyway, I don't think I can go through another pregnancy but feel that I am making the wrong decision, my husband doesn't mind either, but should I get my tubes tied or should I stay on birth control? I guess i'm just hoping for a girl, but I don't want to kill myself with another pregnancy and what if I ever re-marry? is it that important to be able to have kids? My wife died 7 years ago of breast cancer when my boys were just 8 & 5. It's MUCH more important for them to have you than a sister... When your health is in jeopardy, the answer is always simple: don't have any more kids. If you want a girl, adopt one. What kind of mother would you be if you had no quality of life after choosing to have another baby? I'm sure you want to be the best mother you possibly can be, so don't risk it. :) Two are enough and GOD should give them long life. Take care of them. Birth control is the best option as your health s important to keep family intact. No risk please. Well getting your tubes tighed, isen't guarranteed that you wont get pregnate again. There is still a slight chance of you getting pregnate. It realy depeends on you, you are the one who gets really ill, during pregancy. Consider talking to your docotr, he might give you a better advice, and about re-marrage, it really depends on him, if he has already kids, or if he even want moe kids, but at the end, you will be the one to deal with these illneses you get. :}Ciao* |
