Would having your gaulbladder removed cause you to be more gassy? |
( Belching more often) I had mine out 3 years ago and the only side effects seem to be: No. On the contrary, it removes most of the gas. After having mine removed, I never felt so well before in my life. I doubt if I burp, let alone belch anymore. I can now, ten years later, but it was in fact a year after the operation, eat 'rusty nails' and by that I mean anything. All those wonderful things that I missed for the six or seven years prior to the op, I can now fully enjoy. There are a couple of minuses for the first few months but they clear up rapidly............. Yes, I had mine removed and it definitly made me have more gas and indigestion. Watch eating fatty food and gas causing vegetables like broccoli. Lettuce is tought to digest I found at first as well. It goes away after a while as your body adjusts to not having a gall bladder. |
