I had a c-section with a tubal ligation 5 days ago and my stomach is still FULL of gas.? |
I passed some of it and had a bowel movement before leaving the hospital, but my stomach is still so full of gas that it is distended and moves around like there is still a baby in there. It looks gross and feels worse. However the more I belch or pass gas, it goes down a little and my discomfort lessens a bit. What can I do to make myself belch or pass gass? It is completely normal. Just make sure you are getting plenty of water and moving around. Get up and walk. Don't sit for a longtime after you eat- move around and get that out. You can take beano too which will help you pass the gas and cut down on it. try stool softeners, or go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist, they will know and will be able to help u. peppermint herbal tea without any sugar will help a lot to dispell some of that gas. Walking a lot, and drinking at least 2 liters of water a day will also help you to get rid of it. |
