What causes excessive belching and hiccups? |
...in an otherwise healthy individual (male)? Does this normally start when you swallow something? I have what they call "Esopagal Spasms" & when I swallow (be it food or liquid), it will feel as though it is getting stuck (though it is not-it is just the esophagus opening & not allowing things to pass-I guess it is "stuck" but it will not inhibit your breathing abilities)...anyways...when this happens, I get the hiccups. I don't get the burping at all, but the hiccups happen every time. It is caused by the spasms. You could also have acid reflux. That would cause your symptoms as well, along with a burning sensation in your chest or throat area. not being urself....!!! thts the only answer...ya drinking coke way fast |
