Do you know about bariatric patients experiencing chronic belching? |
Do you know about bariatric patients experiencing chronic belching? Are you talking about patients that have had gastric bypass surgery? If so, I worked with a woman that had the surgery done and she had chronic belching. She told me it was because the stomach area was so small that any air that was swallowed while drinking or eating had to come up. She also said that she could not have carbonated beverages due to the belching from the gases. |

Sounds like your doctor is pretty incompetent. I have a similar problem and I take Zantac tablets twice a day. Clears it right up. Run a search for Zantac on google and take that to your doc... |
