Health - Bee sting? |
My daughter's middle finger was stung by a bee last Sunday and tonight (Saturday) it is still very swollen and hard. It doesn't seem to bother her but should I take her to see the Doctor or do bee stings normally last this long? Is the area red? Warm? If the bee left it's stinger in her finger it would cause some swelling and possibly be warm and red. Soak the finger in warm water and when not soaking place a warm washcloth over the finger. Does it hurt to press on it? I would take her to see the doctor to be safe. Just in case there's a possibility that the stinger could've gotten buried under the skin or something. Good luck. She could just bee alergic to bee stings but take her to the doctor to be safe. APPLY LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE! |
