How does it hurt? |
many people have told me that tattoos hurt like being stung by a bee but the thing is ive never ben stung by a bee but ive been scratched by a cat is it anything like that ??? its different for many people, and its kinda like a constant picking with a pin or something I have never had a tattoo but i can tell you that being stung by a bee hurts a hell of a lot more and the pain lasts much longer than being scratched by as cat. slap or pinch yourself hard in the spot you are going to get the tattoo if you can handle that getting inked should be no problem once the outline of the tat is done its pretty much smooth sailing from there I have four tattoos and I would not equate it to either a bee sting or a cat scratch. To me, the outline is the worst (coloring in is faster and less painful) ... at first I would compare it to having a pin or needle dragged over the skin (it doesn't feel like a needle-stick or a shot), but than after about 10 minutes, it is just irritating, like being rubbed with sandpaper. i have three tatoos and i believe alot has to do with your tolerance to pain, yes your going to feel something when you get one but each person is diff. and the spot your getting it done also contrubutes to the pain, if i found it so bad i wouldnt have gotten three. It's a bit like being scratched by a cat, although I'd say it's a bit more more intense. Probably more like getting your ear pierced but not quite as bad. Really it depends most upon where you'll be getting it. Besides, by the time the lines are done you're numb and the endorphines have kicked in...the rest is a piece of cake Depends on where you are getting them. Your ankles, small of your back, wrists, hip bone, and the under part of your arm hurts! But nothing that you usually can't take. Just like a constant Ooww. lol Depends on how big the tatt is and how detailed it is as well. A friend of mine got a huge tatt all across her back and didn't really hurt her. There were some spots more sensitive to others. It's a needle that very rapidly penetrates the skin. You kind of become numb to it after sitting there for a little bit. |
