Aside from an allergic reason..Why are you ''afraid'' of bees? |
You see folks just 'freaking' out when a bee hovers around them...which seems pointless because that increases the chances of being stung.Which is irritating but not harmful unless one has an allergic reaction.I don't care if they buzz around me or even land on me. Yeah, bees are harmless unless you try and aggrivate them. Some people are just... stupid. You're brave. i don't wanna be stung people are afraid of beeing stung. the stingers! & first instinct! Who ever said I was? ;) No one likes to be stung if they can help it. Then the minor pain, possible swelling and redness. So I'll swat them away so i won't be inconvenienced by a bee sting. not allergic..don't freak out....hate them cause they hurt...not afraid The fear of being stunk lingers in everyone's head whenever a bee comes around. But I personally, don't care. I get paper cuts on a regular basis, play airsoft, and weight lift, so I could care less about a little sting. I got bit by a spider in November and there are still red bumps on my foot, and it is January. Maybe I should get that checked... It usually has to do with classical conditioning as a child. If you see a parent freaking out when there's a bee around as a toddler, then you automatically associate the bee with loud noises, which scares babies. Hence, the child grows up being afraid of bees, because there was fear surrounding a bee as a child. Same thing with snakes and spiders. Since my parents love snakes, I'm not scared of them at all (unless they're venomous, in which case I'd rather stay away. That's instinct) |
