If my aunt and my mum are allergic to bee & wasp stings? |
will i be to? Allergy is a defect in the immune system. It is not uncommon for it to be passed from generation to generation. Both of my children have dust mite allergies even though my husband does not. If you are that concerned, you could be tested by a doctor and if you test positive have them give you a prescription for an Epi-Pen, just in case. Does your aunt have children? If so, are they sensitive? Both mum and her sis should be carrying an Epi-Pen also. Not necessarily, but allergies can be passed on from one generation to the next. If you are concerned I suggest you see an allergist. They can test you to see what you are allergic to. Why chance it? Have them (and you) take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day to develop immunity to this problem. Your body will work with the local honey to build up a defense against any air born irritant as well. You will find you are overall, healthier and will get less cold and flu symptoms as well as controlling any air born allergies. Possible but not necessarily. |
