I had a lot of bumps similar to bee-stings in my arms and stomach.. my Dad is worried about MRSA?? |
I would scratch them and scratch them all night and day..this happened last week. They just appeared..now i have small scabs there but it still itches a little. I dont have any other symptoms.. should he be worried? Im 20yrs old and vegetarian. thanks Based on your limited information I can only guess that it sounds like chicken pox or measles. That doesn't sound like MRSA. Staph generally starts off looking like a pimple. There is usually one bump not mutliple. Then it looks like a little hole, then the hole gets filled with fluid and pus. It can be painful and somewhat irritated. Once drained, it should be kept clean and the infectd area will return to normal size. I can only give you my grandson's experience with MRSA. He got it about 3 years ago when he was about 4 years old. He had a great big open sore on his leg that was about 1 1/2 inches wide -- and very painful. It looked very scary and unlike any other sore that I have ever seen. Signs of MRSA: |
