Do you limit what you drink before bed in order to avoid having to get up and urinate during the night? |
Also, do you make sure to empty your bladder at the very last minute before getting in bed, for the same reason? seems like a strange issue, but it is quite common. i still drink whatever i need throughout the evening and i always make sure i go even if it is only a few drops before i go to bed. i do not have to get up through the night. usually though if you are having an issue, it may be a lack of minerals or vitamins that your body or system needs. You might do a little research on this issue online and take a few supplements that will help you with making it through the entire night. i hope you find a solution that suits your problem and if not, i would ask your doctor. if it is an overactive disorder, something like avodart from the doctor might help. Saw palmetto though is an over the counter alternative that may work pretty well, but is not a cure all. Cranberry pills along with pomegrante pills or liquid will be helpful. I have never been a bedwetter, but I still do limit what I drink for a while before going to bed; I never get up to pee, so my bladder just keeps filling up, and I'm practically ready to burst when I wake up in the morning. Obviously, that's not an enjoyable sensation, so I take the proper measures to avoid it. That's unfortunate that you have to deal with such an annoying problem, but I'm glad to hear that you have some ways to get around it. No I don't limit myself. If the need arises for me to arise in the night....I just get up and take care of it. But that is rare. Definitely. I still have to go at during the night, usually twice (but sometimes more). I've been that way all my life. Because I don't wake up for anything for the first 2-3 hrs of sleep, it is a good idea for me to avoid drinking anything for a couple of hours before bed. I also use the bathroom immediately before bed. Even so, I still have to get up later. well, that should work... after all, the urine production and the function of the kidneys slow down during the night, but that is not always the case. people who tend to have tachycardia at night, just before they fall asleep, or those who watch tv, or have a not calm or quiet night, sleep with tense and urine could be produced. I've never had a problem with bed wetting.I use the bathroom 1st thing n the morning and again maybe 8 or 9 hrs later. Some ppl have stronger bladders which helps u hold in urin alot longer. |
