How common is it for young adult guys (NOT with prostate problems!) to have to wake up to empty the bladder..? |
..in the middle of the night? I'm in my late 20s, in good health, and have pretty much always had to do this ever since I "outgrew" wetting the bed every night when I was about 12. Sometimes I try to roll over and make myself hold it until morning, and once in awhile that works, but usually there's no chance, I HAVE to get up and go! Just wondering how common it is for adult men to have to do this, other than as a result of a prostate issue... I've had that checked, not a fun experience, but was assured that that's not a problem for me! I'm told that my bladder is probably a little small as a result of the childhood bedwetting problem... anyone else know anything about this? Not that uncommon, some guys have smaller bladders than others, and urologists do not consider you have a problem until you are going like 3 or 4 times during the night. Your bladder may also have a thickening of the bottom wall, mine does and I have a similar prob. Don't drink so much before you go to bed. THAT IS A HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER BECAUSE THERE ARE OVER A TRILLION DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE WHO ARE FROM DIFFERENT SPERM CELLS THAT MAKE DIFFERENT BODY PARTS WORK OR NOT WORK,,, BUT MILLIONS OF ADULTS ARE LIKE INCONTIENT IN DIAPERS FULL TIME AND JUST YOU DEAL WITH WHAT LIFE SPILLS AND AMAZING AS IT IS WOMEN ARE MORE WET PER HOUR THEM MEN SO I WOULD SAY 88 PERCENT OF AMERICANS ARE BED WETTERS OR ACCIDENT FOLKS,,,, O WELL WET,, SOILED CHANGE N MOVE ON,,, I'm not a male, but I too have the same problem. I recently went a got my bladder checked out and all they could tell me is its under sized. Thats it. There is nothing they can do about it nor is it serious, i just have to to a little more often than others. Anyways, I had a bed wetting problem.... gzz.... forever it feels like. Ever since I quit wearing diapers to bed, I've had a bed wetting problem. It was an every night thing that lasted way up into my teen years, then it finally started to slow down. Every now and again i "relapse" at night. when that happens I really feel down and ashamed of my self. I always try to hold my urine at night until I cant hold it any longer. Even during the day I hold it until I cant bare it any longer. (Some weird psychological thing I do because I tell myself I can stretch my bladder out that way.) During the night, if I wake up because I need to pee, I am proud of my self. Most of the time I don't ever wake up until its too late. I know getting up in the middle of a good night sleep (just to go pee) is an inconvenience but I would rather have a dry night than a shameful night You know? I think we are a couple out of the many people who still deal with bed wetting. Its something we can handle otherwise we wouldn't have been dealt with it. |
