Bedwetting and diaper?

my daughter is 11 and has bedwetting problem
I let her wear Goodnites during sleeping
but my neighbor's son(7-year-old) always laugh at her
because my daughter take sleepover at his house and wet her Goodnites
It is embarrassed
Else diapers are useful?

she is fine, talk to the other kid's parents to stop this teasing. i still wet the bed at 17, i cant help it and the doctors (i have been to 4) say there is nothing wrong with me. i wear goodnites too.

She is too old. Ask your doctor. She might need meds that will help her develop her bladdar.

If she is bed wetting while are you letting her go over there. Are you a stupid parent? by sending her over there you are allowing her to get hurt emotionally.

Take those goodnites off of her too. If she wets her self, she will get uncomfortable at night and learn that is gross and uncomfortable.

maybe its not even a bladder problem.maybe she sleeps too deeply.

Go to the doctor.

My oldest daughter was a bed wetter. She wore diapers too. When she started kindergarden the first time it was show and tell she took one of her diapers and explained to the class that she had to wear diapers still at night because she would wet the bed and not wake up... She asked her classmates if they had any questions. Just about everyone wanted to ask her something and some of the other classmates admitted they too were bed wetters. No one ever teased her about it.

Maybe the two families need to set down together and discuss your daughters condition and how bad it makes her feel that he is ridiculing her.
Reassure you daughter that eventually the problem will go away and she has nothing to be ashamed of.

My main question is have you spoke with your daughters doctor yet to make sure there isn't some medical treatment he could be doing to help her with this problem. Also if your neighbor's child is so cruel to her I would suggest you speak with his parents about it and also not let her spend the night at his home anymore.

There is nothing wrong with goodnites but a diaper for bedtime would be more useful. Diapers are more absorbent than the pull-ups.

Truthfully, it isn't all that unusual for a 11 year old to be wetting the bed, honestly. It happens. It can be something as simple as her bladder not being fully developed yet to stress in her life from school or some other source.

She will be fine in time, all she needs is support and encouragement for now, plus some diapers to get her through this until it passes.

Good luck to her and you too.
