Bedwetting Alarm... Does it really work?

My 6 year old son has battled with night time accidents for a while. He wears a pullup every night and about 3/4 of the time it is wet the next morning. He has asked to get more help so our doctor wrote me a script for the Bedwetting Alarm, but I want to know what others have experienced with these before I spend all the money for something that may not work. We have tried all aspects except for drugs (which we will not do) and this alarm. Thanks for the help.

Generally these devices are not used consistently enough to see results as they usually cause more stress on parents having to wake up in the middle of the night and change sheets.

I had a client I did some Marketing materials for that sold these devices; they were insanely expensive and the "guarantee" was a refund if returned within 3 days...but the device said it needed at least a month before any results could be seen!

I agree to stay away from drugs; check for some books on parenting tips, ask other parents what worked for them, or see a psychologist or therapist for some advice. Good luck!
