Why does bedwetting happen?

Why does bedwetting happen?

Because you've had a skin full the night before...

Bedwetting can be passed down from parents but why it actually happens is a tough one...

Most people who do it need as they have a weak bladder so when asleep instead of waking up to go to sleep they dream that they are going to the toilet and actaully do it.

talk to doc,and get cured.

Bed-wetting isn't caused by drinking too much liquid before bedtime. It's not a psychological problem. It's not because the child is too lazy to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. And children do not wet the bed on purpose, out of spite or to irritate their parents.

Some of the causes of bed-wetting include the following:

Genetic factors (it tends to run in families)
Difficulties waking up from sleep
Slower than normal development of the central nervous system--this reduces the child's ability to stop the bladder from emptying at night
Hormonal factors (not enough anti diuretic hormone--this hormone reduces the amount of urine made by the kidneys)
Urinary tract infections
Abnormalities in the urethral valves in boys or in the ureter in girls or boys
Abnormalities in the spinal cord

A lot of the time it happens when you are dreaming and you are going to the loo in your dream, you are supposed to wake up.....but if your in a deep sleep you dont and that's when you wet the bed.

its very common. They will grow out of it

Sometimes bed wetting (enuresis) can occur when a person sleeps too deeply and loses autonomic muscle control. In other words you lose control of the bladder's sphincter muscle. If this is the reason for the problem it can mean that one will actually wet the bed multiple times a night.

When we were first tackling this problem for a boy I know it turned out that he wet the bed 5 or 6 times every night as he went into the deep sleep cycle. We got him an alarm that would sound when it got wet. It took a long time to solve the problem but he only occasionally wets the bed now when he has not had enough consistent sleep (he is 15) and ends up sleeping too deeply to catch up.

That is just our experience but you can find a lot of information on the Internet by searching on "nocturnal enuresis".

I know a few kids in my scouting group who at age 10-11 still wear nitetime diapers for bedwetting. Both of these boys have a psychological problems, abuse, neglect. Their parents are foster parents and Psycho doctors told them it is a pyschologic problem.

SLEEPING TOO HARD,
